Activities
SYSTEMS DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT
Developns new systems to meet emerging organisational needs
Provides technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing systems
Assists in assessing suitability and bid analysis of service providers with regards to undertaking projects required by the organisation.
Assists in identifying the best technologies to be used in accomplishing various tasks in line with organisational/programmatic goal.
Identifies modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
SYSTEM STANDARDISATION
Develops Standard Operation Procedure documents for systems and programs
Analyses and documents day to day operations of users at a programing level as well as system level
Advises on loopholes and assist in coming up with optimal modes of operation.
Writes detailed SOPs based on observations and findings
Liases with vendors and consultants on PSIs system related issues
Meets with vendors to come up with most efficient and cost effective services and acquisition of system resources.
Works with consultants to come up with best practices and implementation plans and timelines with regards to IS projects
Structures and organises trainings for PSI staff and partners
Identifies loopholes in opearations and documents these
Develops training manuals and documents
Leads in PSI and partner system trainings
