JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of Director Laboratory Services, the Laboratory Manager is responsible for the implementation of National Laboratory Strategic Plan and Operational Plan, implement and manage of national Laboratory Network, establish and monitor laboratory quality management system and safety protocols, conduct operational research, train staff, manages daily operations of the Laboratory and compiles laboratory reports.
MAIN DUTIES
IMPLEMENT NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONAL AND MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE AND OPERATIONAL PLAN.
Implement laboratory national policy, guidelines and strategic plan
Monitors implementation of laboratory safety and minimum standards
Conducts quarterly reviews on implementation of laboratory operational plan
Periodically reviews laboratory workload for appropriate staffing patterns.

Regularly takes the vehicle for services and repairs for its fitness
