The above Grade G position exists in the QA Department within Technical. The position provides opportunity for a young and talented individual who wishes to develop a career in this exciting industry as a Quality Specialist – Trade
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB.
The primary purpose of the job is to ensure the continuous improvement of process and product quality by servicing the trade and attending to Ullages.
KEY RESULT AREAS & OUTPUTS
MANAGE ALL TRADE COMPLAINTS
• Receive quality complaints from Customers, Consumers, Distributors, Sales reps, Sales Managers etc.
• Go to the originator of the complaint in order to understand the circumstances of the complaints
• Take the defective product back to the Brewery for analysis.
• Conduct analysis, together with the Lab laboratory, to identify the defect type performance
• Work with the line managers to identify the root cause of the defect
• Feedback to the originator on actions taken
APPLY “IN-TRADE” ASPECTS OF THE QUALITY SYSTEM
• Review and refine In-Trade aspects of the quality system to drive continuous improvement
• Develop relevant SOP’s according to regional standards
• Ensure new documentation is included in the QA system and controlled as per Regional Standards.
COMMUNICATE PROCESS AND PRODUCT QUALITY INFORMATION
• Collate and trend Trade quality data as per statistical guidelines.
• Attend Production Meetings as required and according to the team schedule.
• Analyze and communicate Trade quality outputs to the team members to monitor progress within the required time frame.
• Display quality performance and relay vital information to production.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Degree in the Sciences or equivalent and 2 years working experience
• At minimum a Diploma in Microbiology or Bio-Medical Sciences and 5 years working experience
• Working in FMCG Company will be an added advantage
