Senior Administrator – Networking and Security – Ref: (SANS)

Areas of Responsibility include:

Senior Administrator – Networking and Security is responsible for overseeing/managing activities of the networking section to ensure:

Implementation of appropriate and secure infrastructure to host bank’s applications, its support and maintenance.
Enable a secure electronic communications infrastructure for the bank with internal and external parties
Staff in the section is supervised and guided accordingly.

Security Officer II *7: REF: SO II

Security Officer II is responsible for ensuring first line of defence, protect life and property.

Areas of Responsibility include:

Manning of posts and attending to customers in the division’s operations.
Operating the Integrated Security Systems.

Candidate will have to:

Operate CCTV, Access control and other systems.
Keep record of all events and occurrences.
Do bodily and electronic searches at search points and maintain physical guarding when counting room is in operation.
Provide escort to visitors.
Perform patrols as assigned and report observation.
Maintain effective access control and prevent unauthorized weapons into the Bank.

Field Service Technician
The role
To service and/or maintain Trackless Mining Equipment through:
  • Machine availability
  • Customer relation
  • Safety, health and environmental effectiveness
This service is rendered to Sandvik clients (internal and external) this position is for a field Service Technician, represent all Sandvik fleet, sharing knowledge on LHD’s (517, 1400, Toro 006, 007, 151) Trucks (TH 550, 50, 40) Drill Rigs & Bolters (Solo DL 421-15C, DS 210, 311, 420 DD 210, 420,, Mercury 211, DB 120), the preferred candidate must have vast experience in above mentioned equipment, this is essential. Also the requirement is to have excellent communication skills, should lead by example, passion to maintaining equipment, working according to Sandvik standard & procedures.
Your profile
  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
  • Trade Certificate of Competence, if possible Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrical, Millwright
  • Minimum 2 year experience working as Field Service Technician with proven competence as Earth moving Equipment Technician in the above mentioned field
  • Basic Computer literacy
  • Own set of tools
  • English proficiency
  • Code 08 license
  • Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment
Experience in:
  • Fault finding, electro hydraulic & auto electrical
  • Underground mining environment, maintaining of earth moving equipment
Location
Northern Cape, Kathu

Responsibilities
  • Expedite Purchase Orders

  • Plan and coordinate transportation of goods
  • Conduct progress inspections on Critical Orders
  • Perform and produce Investigation Reports on damaged goods
  • Maintain records on damaged goods per order

  • Produce and submit reports requested from the relevant Area Managers
Your Profile
  • Diploma in Logistics.
  • Degree in Logistics would be advantageous
  • 2 - 3 Years’ experience and Solid Track Record in Project Logistics and Expediting
  • Good understanding of shipping regulations and customs regulations
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
