The Corporate and Investment Banking Unit serves a wide range of requirements for banking, finance, trading, investment, risk management and advisory services. Corporate and Investment Banking delivers this comprehensive range of products and services relating to: investment banking; global markets; and global transactional products and services.
Personal and Business Banking
Personal and Business Banking Unit offers banking and other financial services to individuals, businesses, and small-to-medium enterprises as well as high net worth persons. This unit serves the increasing need among Africa’s small business and individual customers for banking products that can meet their shifting expectations and growing wealth.
THE ROLE
Country Projects Manager
This role is accountable for Projects and service delivery, which includes:
• Execution of Country specific projects (local & Group driven).
• Coordinate the Country Change Committee (ChangeCo) & Transformation Committee meetings.
• The creation, maintenance and reporting of projects.
• Delivery of Information Technology Service to Business Units.
• Management of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between IT and all its stakeholders.
• Management of Change Process.

Key Responsibilities:
• To provide project management capability for Country projects.
• To report on project performance against time, scope, budget and quality parameters.
• To regulate and manage project change controls.
• To prioritise project demand in consultation with business partners and customers.
• To manage project budgets and provision reporting to business partners and customers.
• To plan, manage and allocate project resources to projects, in consultation with stakeholders.
• To engage with lines of business and work closely with them to ensure cohesiveness (team work) and understanding.
Qualifications, Knowledge& Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field and any other related qualification in Project management.
• Prevalent management practices, techniques and tools.
• Good understanding of Project Management Principles.
• Familiar with methodologies pertaining to portfolio - and project management (such as PMBOK).
• Experience in portfolio, programme and project management in complex infrastructure provision, IT or Banking operations.
• Good general knowledge of banking practices.
• Current People Management practices.
• At least three years exposure to the management of programme/portfolio type management initiatives, with significant focus on management capabilities and experience in complex technology based environments. Demonstrable track record.
• Experience relative to Information and Infrastructure Technology would be an advantage.
• At least three years experience in managing a functional business area.
