Head of Social Development Ref: Q-S16-01
The incumbent will be responsible for development, growth, and management of the social development program while contributing to the growth of Sentebale. Key Performance Indicators include: overseeing partner relations and support, developing and reviewing program plans and budget in accordance with the overall strategic direction of Sentebale and also contributing to the Charity’s overall strategy and policy development.
Your bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development or a related field, coupled with a minimum of three years’ experience in a middle to senior management position within a child focused NGO, demonstrable experience in staff leadership within the context of a multi-cultural team and conversance with the legal and policy frameworks governing issues of child care and support both in Lesotho and in the Southern African region, set you apart from most. It is essential that you have proven experience of development, implementation and management of programs, excellent analytical and report writing skills, understanding and appreciation of the geopolitical context and issues relating to HIV/AIDS. A valid driver’s license and willingness to drive throughout Lesotho are considered compulsory.

Head of Letsema Ref: Q-S16-02
Backed by a degree in Social Sciences, and a minimum of three years’ experience at a managerial level, experience in knowledge management and developing networks and relationships with a variety of stakeholders, you have the ability to lead on the development of the Letsema Network: exploring the potential for improving access to health care, which entails liaison and relationship building with the Ministries of Health and Social Welfare, local and interna-tional agencies in the health, child care and protection sector.
Key Performance indicators include: setting up and running regular capacity building events for the network, reviewing and documenting information and best practice in the child care sector, maintaining and expandingwww.letsema.org, developing, managing and reviewing Letsema annual plans and budget and leading the Letsema team. It is vital to have experience in project management -planning, implementation and evaluation. It is also signifi-cant to have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously and in a multicultural team and the ability to plan, prioritize and execute own work plan once agreed. A valid driver’s license is requisite.

Outreach Coordinator (12months fixed contract—renewable) Ref: Q-S16-03
You are excited to work with rural communities, have expertise in project management, and have an understanding of the HIV and AIDS geopolitical context both locally and regionally. Your good communication skills and under-standing of government procedures and policies, result s orientation, good report writing skills, and knowledge of health legal frameworks and policies, are preferred. It’s your degree in Health Sciences or any of the social sciences and a minimum of two years’ experience that are highly desired for this role.
Key Performance Indicators include: Liaising with Ministry of Health on outreach activities, collecting and collating outreach schedules from partner district health management teams, working with district health management teams to implement activities in the outreach schedule, supporting and overseeing mobilization activities and following up with M&E Manager to establish data requirements, submitting regular progress reports on the outreach program and periodically participating in the review of the program for continual improvement.
