JOB ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE TRIBUNAL POSITIONS
INTRODUCTION
The Ministry of the Public Service invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Chairpersons and Members of the Public Service Tribunal. The Tribunal is a quasi-judicial entity under the Ministry of the Public Service established pursuant to Section 20 of the Public Service Act of 2005 to deal with appeals instigated by a public officer, registered public officers’ association or employer arising from grievances and disciplinary actions.
Incumbents shall be engaged on a five year contract and would work on an ad hoc basis to sit on allocated cases.

-Interpretes the law assesses appeal papers presented and controls how the hearings unfold in the courtrooms.
-Acts as a communicator for the panel.
-A Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) plus 5 years working experience in a labour relations environment.
