We have an exciting career opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP): International Operations to serve as a liaison within the organisation and assess human resources needs in areas such as recruitment, performance management, remuneration and benefits, succession planning, career and management development and employee wellness. This position will drive both the strategic and operational HR service delivery objectives. This position reports to the Human Resources (HR) Director and is based at our head office in Cape Town.
Key Performance Areas:
  • Develop, implement and manage the HR operating plan, policies and procedures
  • Deliver on HR strategic priorities, driving HR projects and expansion
  • Develop and manage HR initiatives
  • Assess the human resources training needs of the organisation and design change initiatives in collaboration with L&D Specialist
  • Provide support to the leadership team on HR matters, policies and procedures
  • Support the development of a robust recruitment strategy
  • Assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives
  • Ensure efficient HR administration processes exist in-country with Head Office support
  • Establish and maintain sound business networks with partners and donor organisations
  • Lead, coach, develop and motivate members of the HR team to deliver the plans and priorities service standards, nurturing a continuous improvement approach within the team
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • Honours degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in an HR generalist, management or business partner role
Competencies Required:
  • Knowledge and experience in performance management processes and methodologies
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential matters in a professional and ethical manner
  • Well-developed presentation, facilitation and decision making skills
  • The ability to influence and interface with senior members of the business
  • Employee relations, change management and team development experience
  • A fair understanding of employee benefits and reward management
  • A solid understanding of international labour law
  • Ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions
  • A passion for the m2m vision and values
