MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
NUMBER REQUIRED: 2
JOB GRADE: C4

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Purpose: To coordinate and oversee the work of employees in the general maintenance, repairs, servicing, allocation of equipment and fleet to ensure that site operations progress is not hampered as a result of breakdown and idle time.

MAITENANCE & CONDITION SPECIALIST
JOB GRADE: C

KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS
Purpose: To support the continued effort of Maximizing equipment uptime and to prevent unforeseen failures, and in so doing extend equipment life:
General Condition Monitoring & Management:
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled equipment condition checks, collation, and analysis;
Interpret condition checks results data and recommend proactive maintenance action
• Supervise the carrying out of Pre-PM inspections, PM’s, over inspection of PM machines
• Liaise with shift supervisors to ensure that maintenance, repairs and services are carried out as planned.
• Schedule oil samples to be taken and monitor sampling of oils
• Take oil samples from equipment and ensure quality of samples before sending away for analysis
• Train maintenance staff on oil sampling procedure:
• Receive oil sample feedback and monitor turnaround times of feedback
• Interpret oil sample feedbacks
• Advice on action and abnormalities on oil sample feedbacks
• Inspect filters and screens during PM services with mechanics
• Monitor track machines undercarriages wear; cleanliness levels of bulk oil and fuel tanks on monthly schedule; bucket and bowl wear on fleet; trucks payload statistics and correct where necessary
