NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LESOTHO INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Applicants are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Early Years Class Teacher (Reception Class – Grade 3: age range 4 to 8 years) at the National University of Lesotho International School (NULIS). The school roll at Primary level is over 220 pupils and the teacher – pupil ratio is 1:27. Students come from varying socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
We are looking for a young and energetic teacher who has a real passion and energy for the job and who can contribute to the development of this multi-cultural school. We have a broad curriculum to meet the needs of all our children.
Minimum qualifications and experience
- A primary trained teacher with a Diploma in Education.
- Minimum of two years teaching experience from Reception Class – grade 3.
- Experience in teaching in an English medium/International school will be preferred.
Duties:
- To be a class teacher for the early years class.
- To develop and maintain a range of early years initiatives and innovations.
- Ability to conduct extra-curriculum activities and clubs: sports, games, Scripture Union, Girl Guides/Interact Clubs etc.
- To offer tutorials to students encountering learning problems.
- To participate in all school activities and functions.

The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualification and experience.

Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and Contract for Non – Locals.
