LESOTHO NETWORK OF AIDS SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS (LENASO)
LENASO is an umbrella nationally recognized network of Community Based Organizations and support groups
implementing HIV and AIDS services in the community. The network was established in 1991 and legally registered in
February 1994 (Registration number 94/53).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of the financial systems, operations and transactions of LENASO. As part of senior management team, in charge of daily revenue and expenses incurred during implementation of the project and report to the Executive Director on monthly basis. Responsible for the development, design and improvement of financial and administrative systems and ensure compliance to USAID rules and regulations while maintaining LENASO policies.
• Leads the finance department.
• Supports the preparation of annual budget.
• Prepares monthly cash flow forecast based on projections per activity plan.
• Develop and design financial systems and tools such as petty cash claim, forms, cash request advance forms, reimbursement and claim forms, procurement documents, purchase request, payment vouchers etc.
• Ensure completion of required accounting documents for submission to donor with support of Executive Director.
• Schedule regular feedback meetings with counterparts both at the level of donor and that of the organization.
• Prepares monthly bank reconciliation.
• Ensure timely submission of finance monthly reports and plans clearly stipulates burn/spending rate.
• Train staff and colleagues on finance related issues.
• Supervise, guide and support staff under finance and admin departments.
• Responsible for interaction with external auditors and ensuring all financial, information and audit trails are made available to external auditors.
• Ensure that computer system always has the latest antivirus software and must ensure that the appropriate computer consultants are engaged to oversee the safeguarding of LENASO computers.
• Train, mentor and supervise sub-grantees of LENASO on financial management at the grassroots level.
• Participates in the weekly meetings of LENASO senior management team.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned and deemed necessary.
