FACULTY OF EDUCATION:
Post No. 0944: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Mathematics Education
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum qualifications and requirements are a PhD degree in Mathematics Education with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant Mathematics teaching experience at high schools. Masters degree may be considered and experience of teaching at tertiary level will be an added advantage. In addition the incumbent must have sufficient research experience and capacity to initiate projects and activities relevant to the teaching and learning of Mathematics.
Duties:
Teach Mathematics Education courses at both undergraduate and post – graduate levels,
Teach Science Education courses at both undergraduate and post – graduate levels,
Supervise students’ research projects,
Supervise students during Teaching Practice,
Conduct research and engage in relevant community activities
Perform any other duties that promote and develop the department as may be assigned from time to time.
The successful candidate will be expected to assume duty as soon as possible after the closing date for applications.

Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and Contract for Non–Locals.
