The National University of Lesotho is looking for highly qualified and energetic CANDIDATES to fill the following posts. 

Position Title Employment type: Closing date
1. Post No. 2325: Associate Professor/Professor in Pure Mathematics 

Professor in Pure Mathematics 
Experience and Skills
At least twelve (12) years of university teaching experience;
A very good record of research publications in reputable journals, which are accessible through internet;
Applicant should have been a Professor from the last occupation;
Must have specialisations in at least one of the areas of Pure Mathematics namely;
Functional Analysis, Real Analysis, Modern Algebra, General Topology, Algebraic Topology and Number Theory.
Qualifications: A Doctoral degree in Pure Mathematics

Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and Contract for Non – Locals.

Associate Professor in Pure Mathematics
Experience and Skills
At least ten (10) years of university teaching experience;
A very good record of research publications in reputable journals, which are accessible through internet; Applicant should have been an Associate Professor from the last occupation.

Applicants who wish to spend at least one (1) year on sabbatical leave may be considered for short-term appointment.
Qualifications: A Doctoral degree in Pure Mathematics

2. Post No. 2481: Associate Professor/Professor in Computer Science
Experience and Skills
At least ten (10) years of university teaching experience;
A good research record evidenced by publications in reputable journals which are accessible through internet; The applicants must already be at the level of Associate Professor when applying for this position;
Will be expected to develop and teach Computer Science courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise postgraduate students and play a leadership role in academic strategy and research.

The successful candidates will be expected to resume duty on 5th January 2015.
Qualifications: PhD in Computer Science

3. Post No. 2160: Laboratory Technician in the Department of Biology
Experience and Skills
Must have two years’ experience working in the Laboratory Science.
Qualifications
Must have a two year relevant post C.O.S.C.;
Diploma or equivalent qualification in laboratory science.
