An exciting opportunity exists within FNB Lesotho for a suitable Mosotho candidate to fill the position of Manager: Business Intelligence reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Key Areas of Responsibilities;
Strategy and Stakeholder engagement:
• Work closely with CFO to develop, Implement and Monitor the BIU Strategy
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to understand reporting needs and lead IT resources to successful execution on projects to meet those needs
• Lead key strategic project initiatives as assigned, developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource plans, communications, and other pertinent documentation
• Implement and maintain FNBL Business Intelligence data warehouse and reporting environment
• Lead efforts to consolidate reporting platforms and provide vision for reporting roadmap
• Work with business stakeholders to identify the information requirements of the business.
• Work with business stakeholders to document the business definition and logic for the key performance metrics of the company.
Business Analytics:
• Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions to provide efficient, and consistent and reliable employee access to data.
• Lead efforts to provide Monthly Reports and other Adhoc reports.
• Work with IT staff to ensure business intelligence systems comply with existing infrastructure requirements and integrate with security systems, network infrastructure, and other business systems.
• Monitor and expand data warehouse, Business Intelligence applications and related software systems as needed to address Stakeholder needs.
• Research new processes and procedures to enhance solutions and offerings to the Stakeholders.
• Oversee all aspects of BI technologies and architecture such as delivery mechanisms.
• Understand the ongoing operational considerations of changes to the BI environment.
• Assume responsibility for the support and corresponding operational and quality service levels of our BI environment.
Qualifications and Knowledge Experience;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems or Related (Master’s Degree Preferred)
• At least Five years Experience in developing MIS reports at Executive Level
• Banking Experience is Essential
• Expert knowledge of Excel and Access.
• SQL coding skill essential.
• In depth understanding of financial data
• Experience with web analytics and web analytics tools
• Experience with development and interpretation of reports
• Participating in developing data warehouse blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms.
