Restless Development South Africa (also known as SPW South Africa Trust) is a leading, youth-led development agency. We have been supporting youth programming in South Africa for over 15 years, engaging and supporting communities, government stakeholders and young people themselves to address their sexual and reproductive health needs. We engage young people in active dialogue with government institutions and we reach out to young people in the most rural and marginalised communities, placing young people at the forefront of change and development. Our programming is focused on three key areas of young people’s lives: livelihoods and employment; sexual and reproductive health; and civic participation.
We are looking for dynamic, committed and passionate Youth Engagement Officer to assist in the delivery and support of our alumni engagement programme volunteer-led programmes in the Eastern Cape. Working with rural-based communities and volunteers throughout the regions, our programmes build the capacity of communities to respond to the challenges facing young people around our three core strategic objective areas of sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR), livelihoods and employment, and civic participation.
