POSITION TITLE: HIV Provider-Initiated Testing and Counselling (PITC) Officer(10)
JOB SUMMARY:
•Supports the DHMT/Hospital team to coordinate PITC activities in the catchment area.
•Serves as the primary EGPAF technical point-of-contact for HIV Testing and Counselling (HTC) activities in the districts.
•Supervises facility-based EGPAF Lay Counsellors and provide ongoing training and quality assurance in collaboration with the DHMT Senior Counsellor, EGPAF PITC/HTC and Adolescent Services Senior Officer and EGAPF Pediatric EID/PITC.
•Work with district team to ensure EQC/QA for HTC takes place as recommended by policy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-University degree in Social Work or any related field.
-Certification as HIV Counselor & Tester.

EXPERIENCE
-At least two (2) years’ experience working in HTC service supervision.
-Experience working with HIV non-governmental organization will be an added advantage
