HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Johnson Controls Automotive is recruiting for a HR Manager at its plant in Maseru.

Position Summary:
Create, deliver and maintain an HR plan to support the Maseru operations to meet the needs of all stakeholder groups to improve the competitive position and performance of the plant through people, team work and continuous improvement
Main Responsibilities Include:
• Plan, organise and deliver HR programs and activities in a manner that promotes communication and involvement
• Manage the quality, delivery, cost and responsiveness of the HR department
• Ensure that the Plant complies with all labour related legislation
• Support the Plant team to meet profit plan objectives
• Drive Plant communication process and support management team to improve employee morale
• Lead consultations with Union on Plant issues and ensure resolution is in line with policy/legislation
• Assure equitable salary and wage administration
• Champion the performance management system within the plant through coaching, monitoring and reporting
• Recruitment in line with resource plan, delivered timeously to ensure availability of required skills base
• Champion the Skills plan to ensure execution thereof
Ideal qualification and experience:
• Relevant HR degree with qualification in Labour Relations
• At least 8 years of generalist HR experience, 3 years of which is in a HR management role
Core skills:
• High energy, self-starter who has the ability to be pro-active, can act independently on own initiative and has the ability to achieve deliverables
• An excellent communicator who is able to positively influence and persuade people at all levels
• Ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels and effectively manage conflict
• Ability to recognize and respond to customer expectations with sense of urgency
• Ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people & to lead negotiations
• Sound MS Office skills
• Proven skills to deal with cases at the DDPR
