Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO) which promotes, establishment and development of Indigenous Basotho owned Enterprises invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant position;
Chief Executive Officer
The incumbent shall be responsible for managing the affairs of the Corporation, and shall report to the Board of Directors.
Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
• Driving corporate strategy
• Drawing and monitoring Corporate Plans
• Networking the Corporation with other collaborating support organisations locally and Internationally
• Arranging for regular and continuous appraisal of the Corporations performance against achievements
• Initiating policy formulation and reviews.
• Preparing and submitting annual reports, financial statements and Corporate performance reports
• Ensuring that the Corporations assets are duly protected.
Competencies
• Strong Leadership skills
• Knowledge of Corporate Governance principles
• Exceptional business and Management skills with superior interpersonal skills
• Strong background in the promotion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises will be an added advantage
Qualifications and Experience
Masters Degree in Business Administration or any other comparable qualification, plus 10 years relevant working experience of which 5 years should have been in a
Senior Managerial position.
