Laboratory Technician Wanted at National University of Lesotho

The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post:

FACULTY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY:
Post No. 2160:  Laboratory Technician in the Department of Biology

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

Candidates must have a two-year relevant post C.O.S.C. Diploma or equivalent qualification in laboratory science.

Duties:

Work with lecturers in preparation for laboratory classes; Preparation of laboratories for biology practical classes; Cleaning up of laboratories after practical classes;

Maintenance of animal and plant collections; Keeping inventory of materials;

Ordering of supplies;

Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Remuneration:

The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Employment type:

Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals.
