The role
Respond to diverse breakdowns, technical solution offering and equipment commissioning by providing subject expertise. This service is rendered to Sandvik Mining clients.
Key performance areas
- Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
- Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
- Maitenence Reporting
- Basic business philosophy
- Administrative functions applicable to the position
Your profile
- Grade 12 or Engineering Studies N3
- Relevant trade certificate in Millwright
- Basic Computer literacy
- Experience proven competence as Earthmoving Equipment Technician (5 years)
- Relevant mechanised underground/surface mining environment experience
- Valid Equipment license for testing purposes
- Physical & Medical ability to function in an workshop environment
- Numeric reasoning ability
- Ability to assemble mechanical components (mentally & physically)
- Valid Code 8 drivers license
- Ability to do extensive traveling
