Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho citizens to fill the vacancy of General Engineering Superintendent at storm Mountain Diamonds – Kao mine, situated in the rural of Botha-Bothe in Lesotho.
Qualifications and Minimum job requirements:
Senior Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Training in legislation applicable to mining or processing plant environment.
Computer Literacy (Microsoft office packages).
Good communication skills in English Language
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
Working as a senior foreman /a general Engineering Superintendent
Experience in heavy industrial plants, mining and processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Schedule plant maintenance and maintenance shutdowns
Ensure plant availability and utilisation
Control and create spare stock items
Monitor labour and labour planning
Prepare and monitor working budget
Perform future equipment planning
Plan and implement plant improvements
Perform equipment inspections
Control Plant SHEQ standards
Liaise with suppliers for services and goods provided to the company
