Currently commencing development of the Lemphane Diamond Mine, is seeking to recruit a:
MANAGING DIRECTOR
The incumbent is likely to be professionally qualified in a mining or mining-related field, preferably with an established career path in the Lesotho diamond mining industry with strong leadership, management, organizational and political and negotiating skills, and an established network in the industry.
The position entails leading and representing Meso Diamonds to Government, regulators, contractors and stakeholders, and will also call on consummate skills in financial management, human resources and media management.
A significant part of the position is to provide oversight and control on reporting, compliance and in supporting the site-based operational team, and Mine Management.
Reporting to the Board of directors, this position will be based in Maseru with frequent travel to the project site.
