HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES
First National Bank of Lesotho Limited (FNBL) a highly recognised financial services provider in Lesotho seeks to employ a proactive, innovative, self driven and highly motivated Mosotho to occupy the position of Head of Human Resources. This position is based in Maseru but requires a lot of travelling.
JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to provide a professional and integrated human resource service to FNB Lesotho. The incumbent will, therefore, take overall responsibility for ensuring that Human Resources provides excellent client services through the implementation of the HR strategy and the continuous improvement plan.
Key Responsibilities;
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent shall be responsible for the following;
• Alignment of country HR Strategy with both the FNBL Business Strategy and the Head
Office HR Strategy
• To implement and manage human resources planning, organisational and personnel development, diversity management, procurement process, trade union involvement, recruitment, selection and retention.
• Facilitate effective employee relations through diagnosing and solving of complicated personnel problems.
• Transforming the organisational culture towards a performance driven culture through the implementation and facilitation of the adopted BSC Performance Management model
• Ensure that the organisation’s practices are in line with the HR regulatory/statutory framework
• Integrated management of the people, financial and information resources of Human
Resources
• Leading/participating in cross-departmental projects
• Service Level contracting to meet agreed Internal Service Survey targets
• Job Evaluations & Staff profiling
Qualifications and Experience;
• Masters Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Human Resources or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Human Resource space of which at least 3 years should be at managerial/senior managerial level
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
