The DRC Stand-by Member Roster is open for applications. The aim of the DRC Stand-by Roster is to strengthen the capacity of the UN partners to more timely, effective and accountable humanitarian response to people affected by crisis and we are now looking for new candidates within the following profiles:
Currently we are looking for the following profiles:
  • Protection / Child Protection / GBV / Community Service / Education
  • Shelter/Site Planning & Camp Management
  • WASH
  • Information Management/GIS
  • Logistics/Supply
  • Cash & Voucher
  • Communicating with Communities (CwC)
  • Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP)
  • Humanitarian Affairs
  • Emergency Management
  • Food Security / Livelihood
You can only choose one profile when applying.
​We are looking for approximately 25 new members.
The following qualifications are taken into consideration as a requirement for membership of theDRC Stand-by Member Roster:
  • Professional technical experience matching the above DRC Member Roster profiles
  • A minimum of 3 years international humanitarian field experience
  • Relevant educational background and knowledge of the UN
  • Motivation for a career within the international humanitarian field
  • Proficiency in one (preferable two) languages. English is obligatory, while French or Arabic are an advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of the complexity related to refugee and IDP situations

About DRC
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a private, independent, humanitarian organization working on all aspects of the refugee cause in more than twenty five countries throughout the world. The aim of DRC is to protect refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) against persecution and to promote durable solutions to the problems of forced migration, on the basis of humanitarian principles and human rights. DRC works in accordance with the UN Conventions on Refugees and the Code of Conduct for the ICRC and NGOs in Disaster Relief.
The protection and assistance to conflict affected population is provided within a long-term, regional and rights-based approach in order to constitute a coherent and effective response to the challenges posed by today’s conflicts. Assistance consists of relief and other humanitarian aid, rehabilitation, support to return and repatriation as well as promotion of long-term solutions to displacement and its causes. In addition, support and capacity building of local and national authorities and NGOs form an integral part of DRC’s work.
