Main purpose of the job:
To implement revenue management strategies and
processes in two hotels, in order to optimize and
maximize its revenues, responsible for both strategic
and tactical initiatives related to revenue generation.
Education, Experience and Competence:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or
related fi eld
• Candidate should have 3 – 5 Marketing/ Finance
years of successful revenue management
experience at a multi-property level
• Experience in hotel revenue management and
sales is important to the success of this role
• Candidate must have excellent analytical skills
and must fully comprehend the hospitality
industry distribution landscape
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills are
imperative as the candidate will interact remotely
with hotels, interact frequently with corporate
brand representation, and will coach direct
reports on revenue management best practices
• Candidate must be able to eff ectively
communicate ideas in verbal and written
presentations
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee management and distribution strategy
for the hotel and manage the day to day
operations
• Daily pick up analysis, strategy adjustments and
reporting
• Perform competitive benchmark studies and
follow market trends
• Create and maintain annual demand calendar
• Create and develop pricing strategies in
conjunction with the individual department
• Provide weekly dynamics forecast of expected
results, variances and budget comparison
• Responsible for assessing, analyzing and pricing
group business strategies
• Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and
provide summary report with recommendations
to improve long term strategies
• Ensure all related systems are confi gured
correctly, validated and working to full capacity
• Oversee and audit the standards and operations
of the reservations section
• Ensure website booking in maintained and
updating regularly
• Facilitate weekly sales meeting to maintain
communication of strategies and demand
periods
• Perform revenue management service for the
hotels
• Manage all aspects of rate & inventory
management as outlined in the service contracts
• Lead a team of revenue assistants, providing
direction on revenue management best
practices, PMS/CRS/External Yield systems best
practices, third party channel best practices.
