Ensure that Atlas Copco South Africa (ACSA) has secure sources of black owned supply, and that such sources are supported by development programs, which will raise and maintain their performance to a level by which ACSA’s standards and the prescription of the Amended dti Codes are met.Ensure that Black Economic Enterprises (BEE) are sourced, evaluated and developed as applicable to allow the above within Atlas Copco South Africa BEE drive.Budget control: Ensure that expenditure on BEE figures is correct and accurate.Manage the maintenance of Quality Manageemnt Survey (QMS) and act as a QMS Representative for Supplier Management. Maintain Atlas Copco South Africa BEE Vendor databaseDevelop and Implement the Supplier Development StrategyDevelop Atlas Copco South Africa Enterprise and Supplier Development Policy and ProcedureDevelopment of measurement and monitoring systemStakeholder ManagementIdentifying and development of risk registerPlan procurement strategies for Atlas Copco South Africa material and service requirementsEffect procurement strategies and decision for the procurement programme and the operating maintenance programme by:Establishing various national contracts for BEEPlacing individual contracts and ordersManage procurement cycle by tracking and analyzing various management reportsEstablish and implement structures to adjudicate tender submissionsImplement an effective and on-going communication strategy with the Atlas Copco South Africa stakeholdersEnsure that all procurement activities are in adherence to Corporate Governance, Effective management of contracts and SLA with all Atlas Copco South Africa ESD candidates.Develop and reviewed Atlas Copco South Africa Supply Chain Policy and ProcedureConduct Training to end users and stakeholders on the Atlas Copco South Africa Supply Chain Procedure and processesMonitor effectiveness of the training and conduct refresher training where neededConduct regular audit on the compliance to the Supply Chain ProcessesDevise, Update and Manage Sustainability Strategy and PolicyProvide an ethical and transparent procurement process that supports sustainabilityIdentify and/or provide feedback to relevant departments Manage Pre-qualification, disqualification and support processes in order to direct spend in the appropriate areasLiaise with vendor management to ensure that performance criteria for application and approval as Vendor are implementedLiaise (and manage) all supplier coaching and development initiatives by coordinating with the relevant role players
Experience requirements
A minimum of 5 years experience in Supplier DevelopmentLogistics, supply cahin and or procurement experience
Knowledge
Computer literate with proficiency in MS-Office applications and Lotus Notes;
Educational requirements
Relevant tertiary QualificationPreference will be given to suitable EE Candidates
Personality requirements
Good communication & negotiating skillsMust be a team playerExcellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills and analytical skills
