Technical Advisor: Ward-Based Outreach Teams - South Africa
The Technical Advisor will lead the finalization and implementation of the operational plan of the national policy and strategy governing ward-based outreach teams (WBOT) program. The Advisor will work under the guidance of the National Department of Health's Primary Health Care Program. The primary responsibilities will be technical assistance in translation of policy to practice, promoting a cadre of community-based health care workers, and ensuring continuity of facility-community linkages.
