Reports to: IT Infrastructure Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
The Toll Plaza IT Technician will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance support of both IT and Electronic components of the Toll Plaza.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate the Plaza system performance, identify problems and repair them
Perform daily Plaza Preventative Maintenance activities.
Carry out installation of replacement parts.
Manage usage and replenishment spares and ensure correct models and quantities are maintained.
Prepare Maintenance reports
IT Network Technician
POSITION SUMMARY
To manage and maintain a dynamic, mobile, wireless network that supports daily Mining operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Pro Active evaluation of Wi-Fi Mesh Network Status.
Preventative Maintenance of Wi-Fi Mesh Network (both indoor and outdoor activities)
Manage usage and replenishment of network spares and ensure correct models and quantities are maintained.
Apply Firmware updates as and when released by the Vendor
Provide regular reports on network statistics.
Special Requirements
Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 2 (two) years of driving experience. Able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to lifting heavy equipment and climbing masts. Will be based at a mining area.
