Our Client -is one of South Africa leading multi-disciplinary contractors. 
We are seeking a Asphalt Fitter  that Supports the Asphalt Plant Manager in maintaining and repairing Asphalt Plants and to ensure that preventative maintenance is carried out on a daily basis.   

Job Description - 
  • Maintain and repair Asphalt plant to company standards.
  • Preventative maintenance.
  • Assisting in establishing and de-establishing asphalt plant.
  • Advise contractors of pending maintenance issues.
  • Ensuring all necessary spares is available.
  • Advising on incorrect equipment application and cleanliness.
  • Checking and recording temp and amp drawn on plant daily.

Candidate Requirements - 
  • Must be qualified in Millwright or Fitter.
  • Completed Apprenticeship/Trade Test
  • At least 2-5 years' experience.
  • Experience of maintaining asphalt plant.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of plant.
  • Hard working, high work quality and attention to details

  • Deciding and initiating action
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Following instructions and procedures
