Letšeng seeks to engage a qualified Mosotho national with the appropriate skills, experience and high integrity to fill the position of
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (PATERSON BAND EL)
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Financial Officer will provide leadership to the company’s finance and accounting function,
to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS;
• Develop the Company’s financial strategy/Company plans and lead the
implementation to meet corporate vision and mission
• Advise the CEO, COO and Board of Directors on the financial strategy
and its impact on the company objectives
• Manage the development and maintenance of all financial and
accounting systems within the Company
• Review systems and procedures on a regular basis and replace, upgrade
or revise systems, procedures and controls as required
• Manage the financial risk and exposure of the Company and ensure
compliance with minimum balances, ratios and repayment of debt
facilities in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Evaluate and review investment proposals in respect of all company
assets and new “acquisitions” and oversees due diligence as necessary
• Apply various funding models for different positions (Forex; Hedging
Principles)
• Direct and manage the business plan (annual budgeting process )
• Review the management accounts and analyse them for reporting
and adjustment purposes and provide guidelines to the Executive
Committee for planning purposes
• Manage the supply chain and administration functions
• Develop a Risk Strategy for the Company and manage its implementation
• Manage the internal and external audit processes
• Ensure compliance with all Group financial reporting requirements
• Define capital and budgetary requirements and manage budgets
allocated for the achievement of the Financial departments activities
and objectives
• Ensure compliance with all SHE programme requirements
• Conducts daily health and safety talks with subordinates and contract
mangers to reinforce SHE and related messages
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED;
• Chartered Accountant
• At least 10 years financial management experience in a public
company. At least five years as a Head of department/ Director/
Chief Financial Officer.
• Membership of a professional financial body would be desirable

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS;

fitness as per requirements
