Vodacom Lesotho is seeking a senior and experienced HR professional to head our 
Human Resources division. The Head of HR is part of EXCO team reporting to the
Managing Director. The successful candidate will drive employee engagement
initiatives, people strategy and change programmes.
Key deliverables:
• ➢To provide high level support to all functional heads through
proactive, needs-driven and responsive Human Resources
interventions of the highest quality to ensure a high performance culture.
• ➢To co-develop, implement and monitor the strategic and
operational Human Resources plan covering key focus areas with specific deliverables.
• ➢Identifies strategic talent needs risks and gaps, creates a plan to build, buy and or develop talent.
• ➢Develop succession and retention strategy targeting high potential and critical roles.
• ➢Drives the integration of organizational effectiveness’ philosophy into strategic business goals/plans to set expectations for business results.
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-starter who can handle multiple
projects with a high degree of personal integrity and ethics and possess the following qualities:
• ➢Success in change management in diversity and challenging environments.
• ➢Effective communication skills, able to provide honest, effective feedback.
• ➢Able to work in a fast-paced, technology enabled environment, remaining flexible, supportive and adaptive to changes in direction, priorities and job responsibilities.
Qualifications:
• ➢5 - 10 years of Human Resources experience, with progressive responsibilities and
achievements.
• ➢A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent (Degree/B. Tech diploma in
Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, and related).
• ➢An MBA or Masters in Human Resources will highly advantageous.
