FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR
AVANI MASERU HOTEL
Main Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for
supervising all front desk activities: arrivals, departures, banking and ensuring that
the highest standard of care and service is given to guests to enhance their customer
experience.
Education, experience and competencies required:
• COSC and a Hotel Diploma or related fields is essential
• Computer literacy, MS Word, Excel and Opera
• 3 Years’ experience in hospitality environment
• Knowledge of Front office procedures
• Display pleasant personality at all times
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Ensures that services/ facilities have been explained to meet customer needs
• Ensures that suspicious transactions are identified and reported as per legislated
requirements
• Ensure that queries are managed as per department standards
• Ensures that guests complaints are reported to management as per company policy
• Actively interacts with guests to identify their requirements
• Educates clients on policies and procedures so that they know what is expected of
them to achieve their requirements
• Conveys clear and concise messages in all written and oral communication
• Keeps relevant people accurately informed and up-to-date of both positive and
potentially negative information
