The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post:
FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES:
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates must possess a PhD and must have at least six years teaching and research experience. Applicants for a Senior Lecturer’s position must be currently in that position. In addition to teaching and research, the successful applicant will supervise graduate and undergraduate students in their research projects and should be both computer literate and sufficiently knowledgeable about Social Sciences methodologies. Successful candidate is expected to start work in January 2016. Knowledge of curriculum review will be preferred.
Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct undergraduate and post-graduate levels in any field of Anthropology;
- Develop and review courses in Anthropology;
- Participate in supervision of students’ field work, research and seminar programmes in the department;
- Perform other duties including administrative, as would be required by the department.
