Operations Manager: Short – Term Business Unit

A local Insurance company is looking towards hiring an Operations manager for its Short – Term Business Unit. The successful incumbent will have responsibility of assisting the Director Short – Term in the day to day operations of the division. 
Key Responsibilities 
1. Management of the divisions functions 
2. Tactical Planning for the unit 
3. Risk Management
4. Compliance

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or Statistics
Short – Term Commercial Qualification
SAQA NQF Level 4, IISA Associate or Licenciate will be an added advantage
Minimum of 5 years post insurance qualification experience, 3 of which should be in a management position
Demonstrable Experience with people management and leadership
Experience with Integrated Financial Information Systems within industry
