Civil Engineer/Team Leader

CAT I
 Qualifications and skills

• Master degree academic level , or equivalent professional experience, in civil engineering or related fields;
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Full computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 General professional experience

• At least twelve years professional experience in road design and/or construction or 15 years in case of absence of a master degree.
• At least 5 years professional experience in bridge design and/or construction.

 Specific professional experience

• At least five years’ experience in contract management or supervision of similar works projects, including at least two years in developing countries.
• Excellent knowledge of audit methodology in the fields of road design, road construction, construction supervision and road safety.

General team experience (can be any of the team members)

• Experience with EU-funded (EDF and/or Budget) road construction works and supervision contracts.
• Experience in the application of price revision formulas in the context of road construction works contracts.

 Language

• The contractual language of the works and supervision contracts and of the audit is English.

 Location & Duration
   A total of 51 working days (45 in Swaziland and 6 home based)
