Position Title
1. Post No. 2625: Logistic Manager (Estate Manager)
In the Department of works & Maintenance
Experience and Skills
Estates Manager shall be answerable to the Director of Works as his left hand person; Shall form part of the executive of the Works & Maintenance;
Shall oversee that all services requests are served from Faculties, Departments and the External Clients/Stakeholders on behalf of Director’s office;
In his/her capacity shall advise the Director of Works on issues pertaining to all services activities in order to ensure efficient and effective use of the university facilities;
Estates and Services Manager shall oversee and monitor the provision of all WMD Operations Services (Transport Section, Technical Store Section, Space Section & Furniture Section); and
The responsibility will also include the sites and services, e.g. leases administrations for all NUL properties, the management of common halls such as Netherlands, ISAS etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: BA in Construction Management, Business and Entrepreneurship, Property and Facilities Management. Minimum of one year relevant experience;

2. Post No. 3415: Assistant Librarian in the Technical Services Division
Experience and Skills
A minimum of three years experience in an academic library;
Understanding of ICT practices, application and tools in academic libraries;
Familiarity with ITS and/or Innovative Interfaces (INNOPAC) software package is the requirement;
Management of serials collection;
Experience in online and offline subject searches; and
Knowledge and contextual understanding of cataloguing (abstracting and indexing services).
Qualifications
BA in Library and Information Studies or Post-Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Studies;

Experience and Skills
A minimum of two years post-qualification experience in an academic library;

Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Library and Information Science.

Experience and Skills
Candidates for Senior Lecturer position must have at least six (6) years teaching experience at university level, and a proven record of research and refereed publications in the relevant field, and must already be in these positions at the equivalent institution of higher learning at the time of application
Qualifications
Must hold a minimum of a Masters Degree in Accounting/Finance or MBA with concentration in accounting/finance. An experience in tertiary level teaching will be an added advantage.

Experience and Skills

He/she should be able to teach a broad range of courses from Undergraduate to Postgraduate levels;
Applicants should show strong evidence of publication in refereed journals;
Will be required to play an active role in building the Department, taking the lead in developing new areas of activity when required, and contributing to the Department, Faculty and University-wide activities;
He or she will be expected to be actively involved in grant applications, have a clear research and publication strategy and be willing to contribute to projects that complement the Department, Faculty and University’s research and knowledge-transfer activities.

Must have a PhD in Language and Linguistics.
