JOB TITLE: Graphic Designer
REPORTS TO:Marketing & Promotions Manager
JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
To design all promotional, marketing and advertising products and to ensure that all design visuals have a high impact. Consistently and efficiently work towards improved brand positioning and corporate identity of Lifes’ Comfort Solutions.
CORE FUNCTIONS:
Design and conceptualize all promotional material, advertising, signage and branding.

CORE FUNCTIONS:
Design and conceptualize all promotional material, advertising, signage and branding.
Operate desktop publishing software and equipment to design, layout, and produce
camera ready copies.

DUTIES:
Receive preliminary and final proofs for errors from Marketing Manager and/or buyers and make necessary corrections to any relevant marketing and advertising material.
Edit graphics and photos using bitmap editing, airbrushing, masking, or image retouching techniques.
Collaborate with Marketing Manager regarding all advertising, branding and marketing material as per requirements.
Plan and strategize work according to deadlines and ensure that strict measures and timelines are kept.
Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
Utilize existing office equipment design artwork with as little time and cost involved as possible.
Contribute positively towards the marketing department by ensuring all ideas are expressed creatively and time effectively.
Designing of price tickets and posters for all stores.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Formal qualification in graphic design or related field.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Three years experience in the marketing or retail field.
A background or interest in photography is an added advantage.
