Assessor Training Advertisement

The Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) is looking for 30 Grading Assessors, for purposes of training and development. The Assessor candidates will be trained under the Lesotho Quality Star Grading Programme (QUALstar) for a period of 2 weeks. Upon completion of training and assessment, successful candidates will be contracted to the LTDC on an ad hoc basis.

Contracted Assessors will work with the Quality Assurance Officer to conduct grading assessments, in accordance with the principles of the Lesotho Quality Star Grading Programme (QUALstar) for accommodation establishments in Lesotho.

Preferred Assessor Candidates are to display the following attributes & skills

Professional image
Effective communication skills
Analytical and observant, with a strong attention to detail
Report writing & record keeping skills
Energetic, with a positive attitude
Experience in different departments within a hotel/lodge/guesthouse/B&B environment
Knowledge of principles and practices of Customer service excellence

Academic Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in Tourism and hospitality
