Change Management and Capacity Development Specialist

Qualifications and skills
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification that is related to specialist training and development. Membership of a professional organisation such as the Institute of Personnel and Development would be an asset;
  • Fluent command of both written and spoken English; and
  • Computer Literate.
General professional experience
  • Minimum of 10-years of general professional experience;
  • Minimum of 5-years of project management experience and demonstrated management skills;
  • Proven experience in all aspects of training needs analysis, and developing and delivering both technical and soft skills training programmes;
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills; and
  • Excellent analytical and document drafting skills.
 Specific professional experience
  • Minimum of 10-years of experience in providing change management support and advice as well as other capacity development initiatives;
  • Minimum of 5-of the above years in a developing country environment (Sub-Saharan Africa experience would be an advantage);
  • Evidence of for example, developing training needs analysis, training plans, training materials preparation, delivery (formal, on-the-job, mentoring), impact analysis, and drafting terms of reference etc.; and
  • Experience in advising highest level of government officials and managers on capacity development issues.
