Regional Credit Controller

Purpose of Role
  • To ensure the business meets tough cash collection, roll over, and DSO targets, while meeting the necessary sales targets and developing solid customer relationships by ensuring that brandhouse is rated the number one supplier to our customers.
Top Accountabilities

Team Management
  • Ensure that the region is supported with credit to deliver sales initiatives.
  • Ensure achievement of regional initiatives.
Objective management
  • Achievement of departmental service objectives including:
    • Telephone service levels
    • Quality assurance
    • Call and contact ratios
    • Query resolution time frames
    • Schedule Adherence targets
  • Achievement of regional DSO and cash collection objectives.
  • Achievement of quarterly KPI and KRA’s.
  • Achievement of sales targets.
  • Effectively manage age analysis across all payment terms.
  • Effective credit vetting process and credit management to support sales and reduce business risk to bad debt.
  • Prepare defaulting accounts for legal action.
  • Action credit related admin.
Other
  • To ensure profitable customer partnerships by creating a customer centric call centre that lives “service worth celebrating”.
  • To implement call centre standards based on call centre best practice.
  • Liaison with customers, sales and distribution to ensure that objectives are achieved in a professional and cost-effective manner.
  • To resolve customer queries relating to accounts and orders.
  • Provide back up and support regional CLM’s with day to day credit tasks.
  • Ensure consistent product knowledge of brandhouse products and policies.
  • Regular liaison with customers to enhance Brandhouse CRM objectives.
Qualifications and Experience Required

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Matric school leaving certificate
  • Credit Management 3 or equivalent
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, CIC, Outlook)
EXPERIENCE
  • 2 years proven credit control experience.
  • 1 year call centre experience and supporting roles.
  • 1 year service related experience.
