Role Summary/Purpose 
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring seamless execution of GE Intelligent Platforms (IP) orders for the SS Africa Region. Work with GE IP Partners, MEA Sales Team, EMEA logistics Team to resolve issues as soon as possible & mitigate order execution risks. 

Essential Responsibilities 
Create quotations for MEA customers.
Create Advance BOMs to ensure material availability for expected orders & reduce forecast risks.
Quality assure received orders to ensure seamless order entry by CustomerCare.
Follow up with CustomerCare to ensure timely order entry & recognition.
Liase with GE IP EMEA Logistics Team to highlight material shortage risks on a quarterly basis.
Create SPAs for orders requiring special pricing & coordinate with the Sales Team on justifications in support of requests.
Work with MEA Sales Team on allocation of sales by End User, Vertical Team, & Sales Person on a quarterly basis.
Generate Workflows for Updating Customer data & maintaining data accuracy in the GE IP system.
Support marketing event logistics for the Middle East Region.
Capture & Compile opportunity data from various sources to support the Sub Sahara Sales Team. 

Qualifications/Requirements 
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited University in Business / Finance
• Detailed knowledge of GE IP Business Processes
• Excellent knowledge of : Siebel, SAP, EDW, Salesforce.com
• Knowledge of the Automation Market in relevant verticals : Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Mining, Metals
• Good knowledge of GE IP channels / System Integrators in Africa & Middle East & 
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask & prioritize effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Language capability : Fluency in English is a must
• Highly motivated, confident, able to work with minimal supervision
• Maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• High level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
• Resourceful, proactive, assertive, detail oriented, energetic, & flexible
