Role Summary/Purpose
The Materials Technical Advisor provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities
•Focused on Material & W/H operations for GESAT projects & requirements.
•Responsible for material and kitting support at remote locations with no current non-exempt employees onsite
•Provide direction, material support, inventory planning and control
•Schedule, resolve issues, track material availability, and advise on material usage
•Design and implement processes and systems for control and replenishment of materials
•Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships
•Attain all aspects of production operation including safety, scheduling, quality, and team development in assigned areas
•Responsible for data driven decisions and utilizing Six Sigma tools
Qualifications/Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
•At least 4 additional years of manufacturing/planning experience
Desired Characteristics
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Global Supply Chain is preferred
•Additional experience in a manufacturing role is preferred
•PC proficiency and data warehouse/production planning experience
•Effective team player and facilitator
•Six Sigma training is preferred
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
