PROJECTS MANAGER

The Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position of PROJECTS MANAGER:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB 
The purpose of this job is to ensure the efficient and effective management of the LNDC’s project portfolio from design, evaluation, implementation and monitoring stages.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Ensure that there is proper management of the LNDC projects portfolio from initial evaluation to implementation and monitoring
•Develop and maintain a system for implementation and monitoring of projects
•Assist the Head of the Division in the development of strategic plan for the Division
•Develop and regularly review guidelines for evaluation of business plans
•Critically analyse and evaluate business plans in accordance with approved procedures and best practice
•To efficiently and effectively monitor LNDC equity/Loan portfolio to ensure that LNDC investments are adequately protected and yield acceptable returns
•Supervise preparation of project proposals
•Supervise preparation of rescue plans for ailing portfolio companies

REPORTING CHANNELS
The incumbent to this position will report to the Head Investment Services

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•Master’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration or Economics. Majors in Accounting, Economics or Financial Management
•5 years relevant experience
