VACANCY
Position- Community Based Mentor
Location- Sanqebethu Community Council
Reports to: Project Officer
Position Summary
Provide regular mentoring and coaching to local support groups, caregivers, OVC households, volunteers
Act as a community organiser on OVC care and support related issues
Collect and report on field data
Work with community leaders and stakeholders, identify capacity gaps for local development
Act as an Ambassador for GROW on a daily basis
Minimum requirements and experience
Diploma with three years working experience or COSC with a minimum five years post training relevant work experience in community development
Post qualification OVC care and support related training
Experience in conducting OVC care and support related training and coaching
Skills and knowledge
Good report writing skills
Ability to write and speak English and Sesotho
Self driven and the ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to work closely with rural communities
