Our Client - Our client is a successful mineral commodity services company, providing services not only in surface preparation, but also mineral mine operation, commissioning and management, they are looking for a Procurement Manager that understands the urgency in the Mining environment.
Job Description- The procurement manager will be responsible for all procurement of the complete mining operation, this includes the physical mine, plant and back office.
The procurement manager will report directly to the Company Executive Chief as well as MD.
You will be responsible for building relationships with suppliers and source suppliers that will be willing to deliver under any circumstances. Example holidays, long weekends etc, as this is a 24 hour operation.
Your duties will include tenders completion, enquiry documentation, supplier contracts etc.
Candidate Requirements-
- Understanding of Heavy Minerals Separation Equipment procurement
- Understanding of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Procurement
- Qualification: Relevant for this position
- Minimum of 5 years management experience
- Strong and confident personality, need to be able to deal with an extremely strong, driven and involved senior management structure.
- Willing to relocate to The West Coast of SA
