Our Client - is one of South Africa leading multi-disciplinary contractors. They are currently recruiter for a Junior Foreman responsible for work scheduling, planning, coordinating, coaching and productivity of the team within the designated work area under direct supervision.

- To be in charge of emulsion and polymer modified bitumen blending along with another Jnr foreman.
- To apply safety, health and environment procedures in work area.
- Lead daily toolbox talks to employees working under you.
- Work scheduling, planning, coordinating, coaching and productivity of the team within the designated work area under direct supervision
- Supervise blending operations according to standards and procedures
- Monitor that all resources (plant, labour and material) for daily activities are in order.
- Prepare work area for the day according to the work programme.
- Report any non-conformance to management.
- To insure that product quality is kept up to our high standard.
- To control the team under him and monitor employee performance and overtime.
Candidate Requirements -
- Minimum grade 12 certificate.
- National certificate in Construction supervision
- Safe handling of Bitumen course.
- Minimum of three years of bitumen product experience.
- Minimum of one to two years of bitumen and emulsion blending experience.
- Fluent in English. (Reading and Writing)
