FINANCIAL SERVICES MANAGER

Maluti Mountain Brewery is the biggest manufacturer of quality alcoholic beverages and soft drinks in Lesotho. The company subscribes to world class quality standards in manufacturing and distribution of its products. An opportunity exists for a talented individual who wish to develop a career in this exciting industry as Financial Services Manager.

KEY RESULT AREAS AND OUTPUT

Reporting to the Finance Director the incumbent will provide assistance & support covering all aspects of the finance function including but not limited to:

• Ensuring that all monthly reconciliations are done and completed within set times;
• Preparation of financial reports in accordance with set reporting deadlines and standards;
• Preparation & participation in monthly fixed costs meetings & assist line management with regard to review and raising accruals for unspent items;
• Review of variable cost reports for accuracy & follow up on variances including stock;
• Monitoring capital expenditure and ensure compliance with budget;
• Investigating all financial errors/problems and assist/implement solutions;
• Investigate and recommend funding opportunities and options;
• Preparation and ensuring compliance with statutory financial obligations including timeous submissions;
• Completion and timeous submission of all offshore reports and remittances;
• Facilitate team dynamics; and
• Train and coach finance staff

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Chartered Accountant or BCom, CTA with Articles or equivalent , AND at least five (5) years experience at managerial level preferably in a manufacturing environment
