Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned position. The position is in Maseru LEC - Head Office. The incumbent will be responsible to Contracts Officer. The position will be on a one year (1) contract.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Certificate in Plumbing or relevant qualification
• Minimum of three years experience in a similar position
• Proficient knowledge in water distribution and waste disposal
• Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
KEY PERFORMANCE AREA
The incumbent will be responsible to do the following duties amongst others:
• Installs, repairs and maintains plumbing systems and components
• Installs, repairs and maintain geysers, sinks, tubs and toilets.
• Test pipes systems and fixtures for leaks
• Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures
• Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Ensures all installations are properly aligned.
• Assemble and install valves
• Liaise with the Electrician for fitting Geysers.
