FRAUD & SECURITY MANAGER
First National Bank of Lesotho Limited (FNBL) a highly recognised financial services provider in Lesotho seeks to employ a proactive, innovative, self driven and highly motivated Mosotho to occupy the position of Fraud & Security Manager. This position is based in Maseru.
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for security and fraud operations of the Bank to ensure protection of property, assets and people; investigate reported suspicious activities and incidents within the Bank.
Key Responsibilities;
-Reporting to the Head of Risk, the incumbent shall be responsible for the following;
-Manage all facets of fraud investigations functions to minimize bank and customers’ losses and related risks;
-Developing fraud and loss mitigation strategies including physical security requirements;
-Maintain and track fraud investigations and report to management as required;
-Establish and maintain working relationships with law enforcement agencies to share information on fraud and security risks;
-Actively promote, recommend and contribute to fraud prevention policies, procedures and training programmes based on current and emerging risks and fraud trends;
-Support business activities through the identification and mitigation of fraud and financial crime risks;
-Provide fraud awareness and prevention training to relevant stakeholders within the business;
-Collect intelligence and crime information in order to advice business on current and emerging criminal trends;
manage physical security programmes to ensure adherence and compliance with relevant policies and procedures by the business;
-Conduct security surveys and spot checks to ensure that fraud and security mitigating tactics are adhered to at all times in all representation points of the Bank;
-Liaise with security service providers to ensure that relevant services are available at all times;
Qualifications and Knowledge Experience;
-A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in security management/fraud management or any business related qualification with 3 years experience in security or fraud management in financial services industry.
-Experience in a law enforcement environment or investigative fields/legal background within a banking environment will be an added advantage;
-Appreciation of various fraud and security management technologies and methodologies will also be an added advantage.
