The Ministry of Health has for past decade conducted the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) to track performance on impact indicators. The Ministry is in the process of conducting the third DHS in 2014 which is a series of surveys conducted in 2004 and 2009. The current DHS is deemed to be the critical one as it will provide information for the 2015 Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The processes for the implementation of the 2014 LDHS commenced in April 2013 with the design of survey activities.
The Ministry of Health invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to participate in the data collection exercise that will commence in August and end in November 2014.
Qualifications and Experience
The graduates from the following fields;
Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Majoring in Statistics and or Demography
Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences
Any other post graduate or degree with experience in Health related household survey
The graduates from the following fields;
